The 1629 Restaurant

DSCF0073Resting on the sheltered coastline of The Moray Firth, The 1629 Restaurant in Lossiemouth has firmly established itself over the years as Moray's favourite eating place. The food ranges from classical French and Italian dishes to succulent steaks and seafood specialities. With a wealth of history and a superb reputation behind it, the 1629 is full of character and surprises, and welcomes regular guests and friends who dine with us all the time.

The food at the 1629 is superb whether it be the rich marine harvest from the Moray Coast, venison and lamb from the hill, or beef from the rich pastures of Aberdeenshire. Try the popular evening supper menu, available daily, or the Continental seafood a la carte. There is a traditional Sunday Lunch, which has become deservedly popular, whether taken before or after a fine walk along the beautiful sandy beaches nearby.

DSCF0092The 1629 has also developed an expertise for outside catering, private functions, weddings, bus parties etc.
